The residence/studio of legendary American realist Thomas Hart Benton is managed by the Missouri parks department, but is nevertheless a "regular" early-1900s home in the Roanoke neighborhood just across Southwest Trafficway. The studio and family residence are frozen in time in an unusual and intimate fashion. Limited hours; check the website to ensure they'll be open when you arrive. 10-minute walk.
