They sail from sunrise to sunset during the sailing season, which runs from May 1st to September 30th. They do not have a fixed sailing schedule but operate based on demand. They have two ferries named Rolf and Viking, both approved by the authorities. The volunteer skippers are experienced ferry operators and approved by the Danish Maritime Authority. They are locally based and therefore have extensive knowledge of the lake and the local area. The journey starts from Skipperhuset, heading south past Sørup's old harbor, along the bird reserve, and up along Nødebo Holt. At Dronningens Bøge, they cross the lake to Slotsparken and sail back along it to Skipperhuset. The sailing trip takes 1 hour, and the skipper provides commentary on the sights along the way. The price is 125 DKK for adults and 75 DKK for children under 15 years old. Payment They accept cash payment and do not accept credit cards, but they offer MobilePay as an alternative payment method.
