Tips from locals
Great cocktails and nibbles right in the centre of town, close to the beach. A must for every stay.
Good Restaurant too but very hip for drinks. Can be a bit on the noisy side but fun, beautiful set up.

“For authentic Italian food in a laid-back, yet stylish space, check out Byron’s latest wine bar. With exceptional Italian and Australian wines, and inventive cocktails, Di Vino is the perfect space to unwind. When your tummy starts to rumble, it’s time to savour a mouthwatering antipasti. For the mains, try out the wild boar ragu with pappardelle (punters rave about it), topped with a heavenly coffee mousse and hazelnut praline.”

“A great people-watching spot - especially suitable for single travellers. Located on the corner of Jonson Street and Bay Lane, behind the Beach Hotel, this is one of the best places in town to chill out, listen to the nighttime buskers and relax. And it’s also a great place for morning or afternoon coffee. ”

“A short walk around the point from Ayana is one of Byron;s favourite up market restaurants. Many a rock star has been sighted at this boutique hotel & what better way to while away a lazy afternoon eating & drinking from Rae's verandah whilst looking out over the rolling lawn & onto the multi million dollar views of Wagtego's beach. You may even get a glimpse of someone famous whilst sipping on your first crisp white. ”
