Tips from locals
Stylish lounge bar with food options. Local favourite for those in their 30s & 40s.
I have not been there myself, but it is quite new and looks fun and there are always lots of people sitting on the dark stoep having drinks. Need to go sometime soon to check it out myself.
Great option if you're looking for a drink close to home. It's got awesome cocktails, tapas-style bites to eat with an indoor and outdoor seating area. Look out for it's rooftop area with incredible views of Table Mountain!

“Cape Town's trendiest street, just outside of the CBD. This is where Capetonians can be found. Boutique stores, restaurants, bars, and a great vibe. Any time of day Monday - Saturday. So many great places to recommend, some are: Jasons for coffee/breakfast, Clarkes for lunch, Chef's Warehouse or Bouchon Bistro for evening tapas, Shortmarket club for a special dinner, Commissary for something different, Bocca for Italian, and Honest Gin Bar...”

“One of my favourite places to have a glass of wine on a Sunday afternoon whilst admiring the view of the beach below and the twelve apostles mountains. Not been impressed with the food, but was there during the winter when they go low key with very simple food.”
