Tips from locals
Lots of entry points on this long urban greenbelt. Ask us and we can recommend a good spot. If we have had rain the swimming in very nice. Sunday mornings are the best times for families.
Very popular place to go hiking - You can google guides to find the access point that best fits what you want to do!
Beautiful trail in the heart of South Austin, get your waterfall fix hiking to Twin Falls and Sculpture Falls.
One of my favorite trails in Austin. Hike, run, bike, swim, rock climb, skip, or hop along this trail. I like to come early in the morning when there's less people and it's so tranquil and serene. Barton Creek flows som 40 miles through Texas Hill Country before joining the Colorado River.

“This is a beautiful natural fed spring. It gets crowded on the weekends, but just say you're a local for a lower rate. This is also a top-optional pool.”

“Zilker Park is where ACL happens, where a great Zilker Christmas Light Show is, where the Stevie Ray Vaughn bronze is. Close enough to Casa Willow and Holly Neighborhood. Google what is happening at Zilker when you come.”

“In January 2015, Ellsworth Kelly gifted the Blanton a design concept for his most monumental work: the first and only building the artist designed, as well as the last project before his death in December 2015. The stained glass in this building is super cool! One of Austin’s better museums. ”
