The heart of the city, characterised by high-street stores, designer flagships in the Galleria and Milan’s key museums. Eateries can be found along the smaller streets spreading out from the centre. The Cinque Vie neighbourhood is a quick detour for galleries and boutiques.

cannot miss the duomo, when in Milano visit Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (next door to the duomo) the Scala Theater, the shopping district (Via Monte Napoleone)

If you have just a day to spend in town, this is probably the must-see. Should you have more time, you can add plenty, like Castello Sforzesco, Cenacolo, San Sisto. Feel free to ask me: I'll be glad to help. Duomo is at 20 minutes walk from home.
