The appartment in at the heart of Principe Real. I would recommend a quick and healthy breakfast at Naked cafe on the main streat for a freshly squeezed juice and salads. Explore antique and concept stores in the area including shopping gallery, Embaixada. It has oriental architecture and it's lovely having a drink under the glass dome. Stroll around the Principe Real garden and sit down for a coffee and listen to live concernt. On weekends, they host organic market with fresh goods and local products. Inside the garden, there is an old gracious tree whose branches are extended to provide amazing shade. Did you know that there is a water reservoir in the garden? Look for Museu da Agua. There are plenty of options for dinners and wine bars in the area. Just across from the street, Nivà Cremeria Lisboa is my go to icecream store - not to be missed. It is a safe and lively place day and night and its charm will sink into you during your stay.

One of Lisbon´s postcard places! Príncipe Real neighborhood is one of the city’s most iconic spots, located just above the historical center of Lisbon. In this neighborhood, you will definitely find the major best Lisbon has to offer. Not only it is amazingly popular amongst local residents who enjoy its balanced rhythm between tranquility and rollick, but foreigners and travelers who visit Lisbon seem to can’t help falling in love with this place. A must go sightseeing place is Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara which is an astonishing high spot of one Lisbon’s hills scenic viewpoint, where you will be undoubtedly overwhelmed by the magnificent sight over Lisbon, both during the daylight or by night. It is also a perfect location to visit other attractive neighborhoods nearby like Bairro Alto, Chiado or Cais do Sodré towards the south. In the closer surroundings you can discover intimate Fado houses, typical restaurants, cafes, bars and other beautiful viewpoints from which you can see the Tagus River (which by the way, you can walk by it and even dip your feet in, historical monuments, squares and churches. Castelo de São Jorge, Alfama and Mouraria are also at easy walking distance and from there you can enjoy the sunshine and admire the splendid colors of our vibrant city. If you want to experiment the Lisbon nightlife, you are in the right place. The neighborhood is known for its steep and narrow streets with bars and restaurants at every corner, as for its young and lively crowd, very similiar to Bairro Alto! Locals always meet there when they are expecting magnificient well spent days! Or nights!!!

Príncipe Real is an upscale area known for its 19th-century mansions, happening straight and gay bars and fashionable shops. The Moorish-style Embaixada palace, is a premiere shopping destination showcasing local designers and concept stores. The neighborhood also has many small art galleries and antiques shops. Tranquil spots include the Príncipe Real Garden, with shaded benches under its vast, umbrella-like cedar tree.
