The Botanic Gardens is the perfect place to visit on a sunny day. There’s also an indoor greenhouse with fish ponds, a cafe, and an abundance of wild life- make sure to take some peanuts and you can feed the squirrels!

The kibble palace is located in Glasgow’s botanic gardens. Its one of the largest glasshouses in Britain and contains a collection of rare orchids, tree ferns from Australia and plants from Africa. You can also explore more greenhouses and see the Victorian sculptures located through the grounds

Park
“Classic example of a Victorian park, designed by Sir Joseph Paxton, and which measures 34 hectares (85 acres). Its set on the banks of the River Kelvin, and is (in my opinion) the best park in Glasgow. Depending on time of day / year, you may find joggers, cyclists, students, dog walkers, skaters and barbecuers all using this wonderfully green space, and the Kelvin walkway cuts right through the park. It's just two minutes walk from the flat, past the bars and restaurants in Gibson street, the entrance is opposite Eusebi's deli.”

Museum
“A visit to the Riverside provides the ultimate day out. The Riverside Museum is Glasgow's multi award winning transport museum located on the banks of The River Clyde, with over 3000 objects on display from Glasgow's rich past. You will find an incredible array of objects from skateboards and vintage cars to prams and powerful locomotives. You can even walk down an old cobbled Glasgow street with shops dating from 1895 to the 1980's.”
