Grano in Chester is fantastic, sort of fancy Italian but everything down to the pasta and bread is milled and baked in house, helmed by an award winning chef. In my top 3. MUST reserve ahead.

Grano Arso - "One of CT best restaurants” As you arrive at The Millhouse you may be wafted by heavenly aromas emitting from the kitchen at Grano directly across the brook. If your stay is on a weekend, and you did not make reservations well in advance, you may be out of luck. During the warmer season, book a spot a few weeks before your stay to be sure you get to experience this "must visit" dining hot spot.
