[Golden Gate Park] I include this as part of the Golden Gate Park tour as its next door to it. Still has a feel of the 1960s. This was part of where hippie culture began. Take time to stroll up and down the street. Check out the wild and weird shops.

Super close from home. Great shopping, especially for vintage clothing. Tons of restaurants to satisfy anyone's taste. This was a place where Woodstock was born. Hippy neighborhood. Sex, drugs and rock'and'roll. Cool place to hang out. Check out a nightly music at the bar Club Delux.

The birthplace of the '60s Summer of Love in San Francisco (and your host Allison!), the Haight Ashbury is still a vibrant center of alternative lifestyles, fashion, and food. This is a great neighborhood to walk around to shop and people watch.

The Historic area that became famous in the 60s, a good place to check out but be careful about your surroundings and safer in groups. There are good restaurants including Pork store cafe for breakfast and Cha Cha Cha for a Caribbean vibe.
