Tips from locals
This area has been developed into The Wharf: it's got tons of upscale restaurants and shops, it's located on the riverfront, and often hosts free outdoor concerts and other events. The restaurants are a bit pricey, so we like to stroll around for the views of the river and then go elsewhere to eat.
It’s been renovated and it’s full of restaurants, water sports like canoeing and stand up paddle boarding. It’s a fun section of DC with a lot of public treasures.
Great waterfront views compliment the amazing selection of dining and shopping vendors. Stop by Captain White’s seafood for a more relaxed feel where you always get a lot of value for your dollar with their fresh seafood options.
The Wharf brings great water views, people watching, hot new restaurants and year-round entertainment
