Dual venue French bistro and casual pub in the heart of the historic district. One of our all time favorite restaurants for fine French dining and delicious cocktails.
In the same vein as Garibaldi’s, Circa is a great places for drinks if you’re not in the mood for a dive bar. The bar half of the French restaurant is beautifully decorated and dimly lit, and has a largely local customer base despite its location in the heart of downtown. (You can order food on the…
Crazy delicious! A french restaurant that is second to none. Amazing food and wine choices. A great date night option. I love the steak and frites as well as the escargots. The bar next door (same name) is a great place to grab a drink if you're not hungry.

“First things first: BREAKFAST. ALL. DAY!!! This is rare in Savannah in anything other than a chain diner. Everything's organic, mostly likely locally sourced, and /or made in house. Its also a little more vegetarian leaning on the menu, but don't let that fool you - they do things right, food-wise. In addition to the wildly eclectic vibe, beatnik vibe, they serve a house made breakfast sandwich called The Big Daddy...sigh...it is PERFECTION!!! Scrambled eggs, cheddar, a delicious house made sweet and smoky veggie sausage that you could serve to anyone and they'd **never know** it was plant based, spin/tom/on, and this creamy sauce ties it all together, along with some sriracha on the side, just for kicks. When I am hungry (which is like, every time I go) I get it on a bagel and I leave very satisfied! I probably eat this about once a week, and usually on a Sunday afternoon while knocking out an hour or two of prep work for the week. PS - for those north of 21, Wine and Beer is also available for purchase. ”

“Great dive bar on one of the quieter streets that includes board games and a courtyard. Beware if you're extra tall! This is an old historic building with very low ceilings.”

“The Book Lady is probably the nicest bookstore in the whole southeast and a perfect place to stop for book lovers or anyone else. Specializing in used and antiquarian books, it's nestled in a step down on Liberty St. and is as cozy and eclectic as you'd hope a used bookstore to be. Stop in and say hello to Joni (The Book Lady)! ”
