Cash-only, hole-in-the wall cheap, but authentic Burmese food. Best for takeout and to enjoy in the park, but also inside if you are able to get a seat! Closed on Sundays.

Delicious authentic Burmese food served on a luncheon counter top. No it's not fancy & the 2 ladies behind the counter are less than friendly. 12 seat, cash only, counter only "restaurant" serving Burmese food (similar to Chinese). Best to go after lunch/dinner people depart. Very popular, inexpensive eatery that locals love.

Bakery
“Millennials love to stand in lines. Go mid-morning on weekdays to avoid long lines. But, the food is well worth it! Riches beyond your wildest dreams: butter-golden pains au chocolat, cappuccinos with ferns drawn in dense foam and croque monsieurs turbo-loaded with ham, two kinds of cheese and béchamel. Don't be dismayed by the inevitable line out the door – it moves fast – but be aware that lolling in Dolores Park is the only possible post-Tartine activity.”
