Tips from locals
The take and bake pizza is sensational. We have a pizza stone you can use in our oven.
If you love croissants, you must stop by here early morning and grab a fresh one before they sell out- If you have a sweet tooth, you must try an almond butter croissant. (They also have spinach, cinnamon, chocolate & plain)
Best Bakery! in Housatonic but worth the jaunt over to pick up some fresh baked bread. Vegetarian options.
Solid pastries, and great breads. The Pittsfield location has more options, and a cafe, but the Housatonic location is closer.

“Parts of the Appalachian trail in Massachusetts are accessible from Monterey, West Stockbridge, Rte. 7 in Stockbridge (connecting trail) Rte. 20 in Lee. If you're through-hiking, none of the trail heads are really close to the towns, but if you're day hiking, all of the trail heads have good parking.”
