About this place
This beach is known for its fishing pier and concrete freighter, The Palo Alto. Only the pier is open for fishing. The beach is also a popular swimming spot. There is a long stretch of sand backed by bluffs. There is a covered picnic facility. The park also has an interpretive center.

Great family beach, check out the Cement Ship landmark for this beautiful beach. Dogs on a leash.
Fish, swim and visit the SS Palo Alto aka the "Cement Ship". Picnic tables and BBQ areas. Lovely 1 mile walking path and fun little visitor center. Winter months they offer scavenge hunt inside center for the kiddies.
Great beach with facilities and restaurants nearby. See the iconic cement ship. Climb the stairs with other fitness enthusiasts.
