This beautiful spot is only about a 15mins drive from Lostwithiel. It is a harbour village but pick the right time for the tides then their is a choice of 2 beaches or walk along to Carolyn Bay. Haven’t yet eaten here but there is a wealth of places to eat, an impressive looking steak and seafood restaurant, lots of cool independent pop ups too and places for a Cornish cream tea.

Tall ship and shipwreck museum. A location for the film Poldark. Lovely local food and tall ship sailings.

Always a great atmosphere down in the historic fishing town of Charlestown. Many scenes from the recent TV show Netflix were shot down here. Very nice to spend an evening down here having a drink and eating some of the great food on offer.

To this day the port remains unspoiled and retains much of its Georgian character. This unique combination has lead to Charlestown being a popular location for film and television locations.
