江戸の幕府を倒して、新しい世の中をつくろうと考えていた人たちの連合軍を率い、大活躍をした鹿児島から出た幕末のヒーロー・西郷隆盛が生まれた場所です。 This is the place where Takamori Saigo, the hero at the end of the Tokugawa period, was born from Kagoshima, who led the coalition forces of those who were thinking of defeating the Edo shogunate and creating a new world.
