Tips from locals
Great spot for breakfast or lunch after visiting Chapel Falls. In lovely village of Ashfield. Afterwards take a short walk to the Hardware store. Which is so much more than a hardware store.
Award-winning pancakes, best breakfast in county! Awesome Friday night dinners and more.
Delicious and funny brunch menu. They also have a bar at night and coffee and pastries to go.
Awesome breakfasts, excellent pancakes with local maple syrup. Great ambience. The place where the locals hang out!

“15 minute drive. One of the last places in the area that ever resembles a divey bar...though it isn't particularly divey. Just has a more local vibe. Good food. Questionable service;). Worth a visit.”

“This interesting museum offers fun trolley car and pump car rides. Browse historical photos, play with the wooden and electric trains, climb in the big red caboose, and shop in the gift shop. Fun for railroad enthusiasts of all ages.”

“15 min away, Fabulous, affordable, 4 season resort. There is a good variety of ski trails for all levels, rentals, snowboarding, tubing and night skiing. Berkshire East is affordable, wind powered, and they have a great lodge with live music on the weekends. This place has it all. In the summer and fall you can do aerial ropes, mountain biking, tubing, zip lining, hiking and mountain coasters! ”

“Less than 2 miles away, Windsor Jambs is a true gem of a spot, home to cascading waterfalls and beauty galore. I've traveled in many parts of the world and the beauty and cleanliness of these waters are at the top of the list. As with all the places around here, please be respectful. Do not leave trash or leave your mark. Thank you. ”
