This garden was the established by Alice Waters for teaching students about healthy eating and sustainable agriculture. You can stroll through the magical garden which is often full of fruits and vegetables and visit the chickens and ducks while you’re there. The initiative is inspiring others across the country.

This place started the gardens-in-the-schools movement. You enter it from a gate at the west end of Berryman Street. Chickens!
