Tips from locals
Microbrewery with tastings & tours that offer an inside look at the creation process.
Home to New York's own Brooklyn Lager, bring your friends for a flight of beers and go on a tour of the brewery. Often live music or entertainment.
"Brooklyn Brewery makes beer. Good beer" as they said. Nice place to spend some time, have a nice talk with friends and family.
Brooklyn Brewery offers tour. We haven't done the tour, but we enjoy going there once in a while. Avoid going there on the weekends. It can get very crowded.

“Biergarten with large wooden tables, great beer selection and live jazz music during the week. Great for winter days. Atmosphere is less Jazzy and more club-looking on the weekend though.”

“It is one of the most visited food market in the neighborhood for locals and tourists from Spring to Fall. It is open every Saturday on the Williamsburg waterfront at East River State Park on Kent Avenue and North 7th Street. Hours are from 11am - 6pm, from April through November. Great city views, many different outdoor food vendors, famous Red Hook Lobster rolls, table and benches to eat, sit, relax and enjoy the views. It is about a 15 minute walk from my location. ”
