Tips from locals
a classic, tiny, italian restaurant. delicious food. the restaurant is a little cramped, but the vibes are really nice.
No-nonsense, low key Italian restaurant. No reservation. No credit cards. Just food. (And wine.)
Best of the best Italian with lines running out the door sometimes. Make reservations in advance. Reviews are great and their gnocchi is mouth watering.

“Kids of all ages, and grown-ups too, will be happy to eat anything on this menu—huge portions of fried chicken, mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts with brown sugar and bacon, and biscuit sandwiches in every imaginable form. Seriously, there’s no need to order separately for little ones. Make an Upper West Side day of it. One of the city’s most beloved toy stores, West Side Kids, is across the street, and the Children’s Museum of Manhattan is around the corner on 83rd Street. My kids practically lived there when they were younger.”

“Popular seafood restaurant with bar that fills at 5pm for happy hour. Some good happy hour specials including 1.25 oysters and dollar clams. Fried calamari, tuna tartar, and fish tacos. And if you like macaroni and cheese, order a side. It's delicious.”
