Mattie's has to make two appearances in any good Bouldin guide. Not only is it known for its peacocks, but they serve up a mean southern brunch, milk punch and all. Reservations are recommended.

Old Southern style food in a turn of the century plantation house. Excellent food and literally in the neighborhood one block away. Check out the wild peacocks!

Beautiful old mansion with peacocks watching the lawn, southern fare, great cocktails. It's an experience like non other for brunch.

This is a fancy brunch place. Take pics with the peacocks and sit on the porch drinking mimosas. I never go here without a sundress on

Mattie’s is a beautiful, massive 19th century home on a large property full of Live Oak trees. Dine outside for a yummy southern brunch or go indoors to check out the antique chic lounge. This place has dinner as well but we loooove the brunch. Reservations are required and they tend to fill up fast.
