Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Garden is the second oldest such garden in Britain. Don't miss its stunning glass palm house. A lovely place to get away from the crowds and recharge.
A place to go for some much needed peace and quiet. Soup for the soul as they say...

“How could visit Edinburgh and not hike up the city's best hill. Offering amazing views over Edinburgh, out onto the Firth of Fourth, up to the castle and right beside Hollyrood Palace. ”

“This building is a mixture of old and new architecture. A great way to spend the afternoon with existing and visiting exhibitions. Don't forget to look up the ceiling is a sight for sore eyes. ”

Point of Interest
“A great day out for all the family, an amazing insight into Scotland's past coupled with fantastic views over Edinburgh and the surrounding area. In the castle you will find "Mons Meg" this siege cannon can shoot a 330 pound stone almost 2 miles - now days it just gets fired to tell us its 1 o'clock everyday. You will also find Scotland's Crown Jewels and be amazed by the architecture of the castle that has been built on top of a dormant volcano. You will not be disappointed with the castle and all it has to offer.”
