Pacific Island fair - and a full salad bar, they also serve beer and wine. It's a little hard to find due to the topography of Date street, but worth the effort. They have dishes in all price ranges. Their new "Tiny Chicken Bowl" is perfect for a small appetite.

Eating fish in the desert doesn't sound that inviting, but Pacific Grill has some pretty decent food. If you are looking for something a little more casual for dinner, this is what we recommend. Fish & chips as good as I get oceanside! Tiny bowls include trip to salad bar which has separate bowls of mixed greens and iceberg--an important distinction for me. Beer & wine at reasonable prices, too. Closed between lunch and dinner. This place is almost always busy at noon with locals; try to go at 1:15 (they close at 2).
