An 8 minute drive, Piney Run Park is a gem!!!! Boasting a man made lake perfect for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking, Piney Run is a great place to visit while in the area. They do rent canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats during the summer months. There are many hiking trails, a Nature Center, picnic tables, playgrounds, and pavilions available for rental.

The Piney Run Park Nature Center is a special focal point of Piney Run Park, where naturalists are available year-round to answer questions and share nature's surprises. Visit the center and see rescued wildlife from snakes and turtles to hawks and owls.
