Flamingo Oloiden Camp, just 6 minutes’ drive away, is our most budget-friendly recommendation. They serve good fish, nyama choma (barbecued meat), spinach, ugali (maize flour porridge), chips (and chapati if you ask!). It is a lovely place to sit right by the lake, watching the boats and nature around you.
