Cascada El Pavon is a fun little waterfall, secretly hiding in the lush forests of the South Pacific area of Costa Rica near Uvita. Although it may not always feature on the most common Costa Rica itineraries, this waterfall is actually quite popular among the locals. There is no designated parking spot for visiting the waterfall. You need to park your vehicle on the road side. Nobody guards this area and the vehicle will be out of your sight. So remember not to leave any valuables in the car. However, if you prefer a safer parking spot, you can drive up about 100 meters past the entrance of Cascada El Pavon. On the right, you will see a big board for Restaurant Tilapia Ojochal. They have a fairly big open parking ground. You can leave your car here, after checking with the restaurant staff. You can also eat a delicious meal there!

Cascada El Pavon is a little south of Ojochal. This waterfall has a big rock stuck between the waterfall openings on the top, which makes it quite unique.

Pavones Waterfall is an easy drive and easier walk to a nice swimming hole with a beautiful waterfall with a unique natural feature.

Está a tan solo 25 minutos del alojamiento Se necesita auto para llegar a la zona (4x4) Si quieres disfrutar de un buen pescado 😋 muy recomendable. podemos practicar pescar en el restaurante que está junto a la cascada, Y también darte un chapuzón en la cascada 😜

Cataratas muy cerca de Uvita, accesibles en carro a menos de media hora de Uvita centro. Un hermoso lugar en las montañas de Uvita. Super refrescante! y muy barato
