Beautiful vistas. Great for a drive, camping, hiking, mountain biking or climbing. Turtle Rock trail is probably the best all-around trail at Vedauwoo for a day hike.

Free to hike, cheap to camp: Great state park, with very unique rock formations. Great for hiking in the spring, summer and fall. In the winter, you'll want a serious 4x4 vehicle, and note that they allow recreational shooting from Mid September through Mid March. No shooting is allowed past about March 21st until about September 21st.
