A great place to swim (there is a beach!), eat and drink or catch a show - one of Brisbane’s best hotspots.
Southbank is a great day out. This is where World Expo was held and has now become a space for the people. There are no charge pools with a view across the river to Brisbane CBD, restaurants, cafes, walking/riding paths, kids playgrounds, gardens and the entertainment/museum precinct.
Lots of restaurants, a beach over looking the city, cinema, theatre and museums.You can catch a ferry there from Toowong or catch a bus from Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. (which is a 5 minute walk up the hill) and it takes you to the top of South Bank. A wonderful day out.
