Open for over three years now, Au Cheval has become one of the hardest spots to get into in Chicago and a lot of the reason for that can be attributed to their cheeseburger. This is by far my top recommendation to anyone visiting, and even if you live here it's a top spot. Know for having one of the best burgers in the country, you will have to get your name in early to the wait list as there are no reservations here. The reward is very much worth the wait! Plus,…

For me the best burgers in Chicago add bacon (the best) . The lines are long so go when you are not very hungry and while you wait you can go in front where there are a lot of different beers !

Diner
“Classic American diner fair but elevated and made very unique! This place doesn't take reservations so if you're trying to find a good spot without a crazy wait in Fulton Market, your best bet is to stop in here and put your name in. Then if the wait is long you can walk around and if you happen to find another restaurant you'd rather try out without a wait, then go for it! But at the very least you've got a really good restaurant to try our in your back pocket. ”
