True Confessions: I met the band leader in the whirlpool at the YMCA seven years ago and accepted his offer to buy me a beer if I showed up that night, Thursday, since his band was playing. All these years since, my wife and I have been "regulars." The band cooks, you'll know the songs and want to dance. And we know the bartenders by first name.
