The Annual Old Fiddlers Convention is held here in August. Also holds different events throughout the year. Rodeo, Lawn Mower Races, Demolition Derby's, Carnival, Christmas Light Show, Houston Fest and more. Also on the grounds is the recreational center with indoor and outdoor walking trail, Tennis Courts, Indoor and outdoor basketball court, Cardio and weight rooms and more.
