Lower Downtown (LoDo) is full of restaurants, bars, art galleries and shopping. Do not miss the beautifully remodeled historic Denver Union Station--a beautiful melding of history with the modern; full of wonderful bars, restaurants and shopping. A must see in downtown Denver.
Short for "Lower Downtown", this area is very walkable with many shops, bars, and restaurants within red brick building dating back to the city's early days. Button Vendome and Rioja are a couple of my favorites.
Lower downtown Denver (LoDo) is a bustling area known for trendy shopping and its dining scene. Be sure to visit Larimer Square and Union Station for some cool places to eat and drink, as well as summer concerts and a weekly farmers' market.
Lots of great restaurants, bars, Coors Field, and Union Station - which is a destination in and of itself.
If you ever want to experience historic Denver and yet enjoy what the new retail and food therapy can offer, then you should visit Denver's Union Station. From here you can get the train to all other parts of Colorado and beyond.
