Mound Bottom is also associated with several pieces of rock art located along the same stretch of the Harpeth River. The most famous of these is Mace Bluff, which features a petroglyph incised into a stone outcrop and provides a fantastic view of Mound Bottom.

Hard trail but worth it. About 1/4 mile drive from the cabin. 30 min. to 1 hour hike depending on ability. Visible hieroglyphics at the top still carved in the bluff from the Mississippian Indian Period.
