Q Station is the old Quarantine station located on North Head that was used from the 1830's to isolate people suspected to be carrying contagious diseases such as Spanish Influenza, Smallpox or Bubonic Plague. This strict quarantine was enforced in the hope that these deadly diseases would not reach the general population in Sydney. There a number of informative historical tours and the famous ghost tour.

Quarantine station is an interesting historic place. They have different types of tours or you can wander around the historic buildings. It also has a great cafe/museum over looking the harbour. Along with a full restaurant.
