One of the great mosques of Istanbul, located in the European part of the city in the Fatih district. It was built in 1470 on the site of the Byzantine Church of the Holy Apostles.

This mosque is one of my favorites but also around it there are some restaurant famous for Turkish meat, kebap and syrian food!

Fatih Camii ve Külliyesi, İstanbul'un Fatih ilçesinde II. Mehmed tarafından yaptırılmış olan cami ve külliyedir. Külliye içinde 16 adet medrese, darüşşifa (hastane), tabhane (konukevi) imaret (aşevi), kütüphane ve hamam bulunmaktadır. Şehrin yedi tepesinden birinde inşa edilmiştir. Cami 1766 depreminde yıkıldıktan sonra onarılarak 1771'de bugünkü halini almıştır.
