Great low key coffee shop with loads of pastry, pie and sandwich options. It's a great place to work from and vegan/vegetarian friendly.

Go to Mt. Tabor Park, climb a volcano, and then discover the Montavilla neighborhood. Along with the independent Academy Theater, great restaurants, indy shops, bakery, and breweries, you'll find the very best pie-by-the slice, community-first coffee shop: Bipartisan Cafe. Daily fruit pie and cream pie pics in a really grungy, funky atmosphere. Lynn's favorites are the strawberry rhubarb and marionberry crumble.

A beloved neighborhood institution. Coffee, pastries, sandwiches, slices of pie and politically-inspired decor are all on the menu. A very Portland place to spend an hour or a day.

Homemade pies, like Key lime, plus soups, sandwiches & locally roasted coffees, in a snug setting.
