Great restaurant with fabulous views over the Solent, serving an array of Seafood dishes. Can we accessed by Sea or land. The Hut runs a pick up service from Yarmouth Ferry - it must be booked.

A hidden Gem, known mostly to visiting yachtsman and everyone across the Solent in Lymington. The Hut sits on the Waters edge at Colwell Bay with uninterrupted views of the turquoise Sea at Colwell bay, and out across the Solent to Hurst Castle. On a clear day, you can see all the way to…

The Island's most hip restaurant on the west side of the Island. Go there for the amazing sunsets and seafood. The restaurant has a boat to collect sailors coming from Lymington and a shuttle to collect Londoners arriving in Yarmouth! It is expensive and so popular you need to book well in…

Outstanding fishy menu but they do serve other stuff too. Amazing place to watch the sunsets. It's fun watching people come over from the mainland on their boats, anchor up and come ashore to eat. Some people even arrive by helicopter! You must book as it's a way to go and then be disappointed. It…

Lodging
“Tapnell Farm is a former dairy farm, turned all-weather attraction, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Isle of Wight. It is one of most popular things to do on the Isle of Wight, and a great family day out whatever the weather! Meet the Animals in our Farmyard Barn, and get up close and personal with some of Tapnell’s cutest and smallest residents. Wander round the Wallaby Walkabout with our mob of tame wallabies, and admire the marvellous meerkats as they stand guard. Venture out into The Paddock and enjoy the views in the company of our friendly sheep and their other farmyard chums”

Park
“Today the park is still owned and run by the descendants of Alexander Dabell, and the magic of the park has only grown over the years. Blackgang Chine is now home to life-sized Pirate Ships, Fairy Villages and Castles, Dodo Valleys, restricted area 5 and of course the original Cowboy Town as well as a whole host of magical surprises around every corner. The park continues to expand and develop every year in order to accommodate new generations of curiosity and fun seekers. So take a visit to the land that never grows old and see where your imagination can take you. Address: Ventnor PO38 2HN”
