A 4-day, 3-night weekend at my farm in Franche-Comté. During the stay, I'll take you inside the Tour de France, paddock access and for guests ages 16+, we’ll take a ride in an official race car and enjoy a helicopter view of the stage. Away from the tour and back at the farm, I'll show you the animals, and we'll finish with an e-bike ride and a picnic by my pond. Sport and countryside, the way I know them.

The space
I grew up in Franche-Comté and this is where I came back to after cycling. My farm in Mélisey is where I spend my days now, and for four days and three nights, I'm inviting one family to share it with me.

You'll arrive to a tour of the house and an authentic Pinot family BBQ, just a good evening together before the days ahead.

The main event is a full day at the Tour de France. I'll get you into the paddock at the start, you'll follow the stage from inside an official race car, and we'll watch part of it from a helicopter. I raced this event for years — I'll show you what it looks like from the inside.

The last day is about the farm. I'll take you round to meet the sheep and cattle, we'll head out on e-bikes through the countryside, and finish with a picnic by my pond. It's a quiet part of the world and I'm so proud of it and excited to share it with guests for the first time.

Neighbourhood highlights

My farm is in the Franche-Comté region, in an area called “les 1000 étangs” (the Thousand Ponds). It's rural, calm, and largely off the tourist track. I keep the exact address private, but you'll find open fields, forest, and water, the kind of place I wanted to come back to when I stopped racing. It's nothing like the peloton.

Hello, I'm Thibaut Pinot, a former professional cyclist. Welcome to my home in Franche-Comté, where I grew up, where my father is mayor, and where in 2023 I retired and built my farm. I'll take you out on the Tour de France route and show you what it's like from a rider's perspective. Afterward, come back to the farm, meet my animals, and see the place I now call home.
