The nearest village is Noresund. There you will find shops and a gas station. 1st floor contains hallway, storage room, large bathroom with sauna, 1 bedroom with family bed, (Space for 3), Living room and open kitchen solution. On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms + a small living room with a seating area. There is also a day bed. Bedroom 1: double bed, bedroom 2: two single beds.

The Stable, 1700s log cabin by the lake with sauna

A small log cabin on a historic crofter's farm by Follsjø – a lake for swimming and fishing. The Stable sits slightly tucked away from the four other timber buildings on the property, surrounded by a wildflower meadow and grazing sheep. A newly renovated bathroom with shower and toilet is in the barn, just 15 metres away. Outside, a lovely seating area with a grill awaits. The area is made for hiking, fishing, swimming and quiet days. Canoes at your own risk; wood-fired sauna available to rent.

Mulighet også å leie badestamp og tønnebadstue / sauna mot ekstra betaling. I sauna kan du vaske deg med varmt vann. Robåt til gratis lån. Plassen passer fint til dem som liker seg I naturen med enkel standard overnatting. I høst/ vintertid fra ca 15.9 - 1.5 er vogna sammen med eget privat ute-kjøkken. Hund tillatt. The cabin is located 30 meters from Rauland ski center and there are 150 km of prepared cross-country ski trails starting right outside the door. Easy arrival from the main road (150 meters from FV37). Electric car charger in carport. Bed linen, towels and basic items must be brought. Cleaning must be done by yourself.

The lodge is located at Tjønndalen Fjellgard in a scenic mountain area about 900 meters above the see level. There are great hiking trails right outside the cabin, summer and winter. We also operates Haukeli Husky who offers dogsledding summer and winter. You are of course welcome to visit our kennel and our 55 friends when you are our guest.
