Mountain yurt for the solo traveler

Fully furnished insulated yurt for the solo traveler to rest and rejuvenate. Full size bed, high speed internet and mini- kitchen. Property is a retreat center landscaped with gardens, flower beds and shaded decks. Nestled in the trees bordering national forest. Great hiking and biking trails outside our door. 10 minutes to Taos ski valley. 20 minutes to Taos plaza. Must be comfortable heating with wood stove, off grid water system, and sharing a bath house. AWD/4WD may be necessary if it snows.

The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious Gourmet Free Breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

This remodeled guest house is an upcycler's dream. A unique and tranquil getaway is nestled 25 minutes from Taos Ski Valley and 10 minutes from Taos Plaza. Situated at the back of the main residence, an Earth ship, you’re sure to have a local's feel, and quiet getaway! Sleeps three comfortably, one king bed in the master, a daybed in the main living area. Plenty of room to spread out in the kitchen-dining area. Not suitable for children. Sunroom and loft coming this summer!

The Rock Art Retreat

A gorgeous estate full of colorful artwork and Native American petroglyphs inside private garden walls. This sprawling adobe home is surrounded by hundreds of acres of undeveloped land. It was built in the early 1800s by Spanish settlers and over time has been stunningly remodeled. Quixote’s Canyon is named as an homage to its Spanish history and the metal sculpture of famed Spanish literary character, Don Quixote, (yes, the windmill fighting guy) who welcomes you at the entrance.

Wildrose Room

Located 2 blocks from Taos Plaza with a daily gourmet breakfast. Wildrose is a cozy second floor micro-queen room with thick adobe walls, kiva fireplace, high ceiling, and view of the historic La Loma Plaza. This small room features a custom mural and is painted in subtle pinks, accented with willow stick shutters and matching headboard. The vanity adjoins the bedroom with two steps leading up to the Mexican tiled bath with tub/shower. Pets are not allowed in this room.

AirBnB currently does not calculate taxes correctly and the Village of Angel Fire requires all guests to pay 5% Lodger's Tax and 2.4% Sport/Recreation tax of the gross booking amount. After booking, we will contact you for these tax payments. My place is close to restaurants and dining, great views, and family-friendly activities. #8 is a large and beautiful place on 3.5 acres with mountain views in every direction. We have a large 3-car detached garage. We have 4 Master BR suites and 2 living rooms, each with sofas and a sofa-bed. 6 TV's and 3 fireplaces (4 counting the fire-pit in the back) Beautiful private dining room and another dining table outside (weather permitting).
