Surrounded by the mighty and idyllic Sunnmøre Alps that offer great ski conditions in winter , great top tours and Strandafjellet ski centre nearby . Short way to the gondola , it goes both winter and summer. In the summer there are many famous mountain peaks just a short drive away, e.g. Slogen, Urkeegga, Saksa ,Molladalen . Geiranger, Ålesund & Loen are two of several beautiful day trips that one can reach from here.

Cabin on Fjellsetra, Sykkylven

Spacious cabin with a great view, with hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski-in/ski-out) and nice groomed cross country ski tracks and light rail are just nearby. The area otherwise has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice hikes in both summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy fishing license).
