The cabin is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy nice days in the mountains all year round. If you want excursions, there is a short drive to Ålesund, Geiranger, Slogen and other popular destinations.

Herdalssetra has traditional mountain farms in the middle of a beautiful landscape with exciting geology. The mountain farmers lived here in the summers when everyone cared for their own animals, now it can be your turn :) This is Norway's largest goat farm in operation, there are also horses, sheep and cows. Welcome to our cabin located in the heart of Sunnmørsalpene. The area is perfect for mountain-hiking all year, and both alpine and cross-country skiing in winter. The Alpine resort Sunnmørsalpane and Strandafjellet skiresort is a short drive from the cabin. And the cross-country skiing trails is just outside the doorstep. The cabin was built in 2020, modern but cosy. Relax inside or out on the terrace, after a day of activity or just to unwind in beautiful Norwegian scenery.

Welcome to Brunstad, in the middle of the Sunnmørsalps! The apartment is an excellent starting point for mountain trips both on foot in summer/autumn and on skis in winter/spring. It is also a short distance to Ålesund (about 1 hour by car) and famous areas such as Geiranger, Hellesylt, Norangsdalen, Valldal and Trollstigen. In winter, two different ski resorts are only 15 minutes away from the apartment; “Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena Fjellsætra” and “Strandafjellet Skisenter”.
