You need to bring your own clean petrol. You can swim from the pine-covered cliffs in the bay or out around the skerries and islands. Värmlandsnäs is located right in the middle of Sweden’s largest freshwater lake, Vänern, and is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including birds, deer and wild boar.

Our accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families (with children). Car is needed because there is no public transport. Closest grocery store Edane, 10 km. Bank, post office, train station and pizzeria are in Edane, to the city of Arvika 25 km. A short forest walk from the accommodation to Lake Värmeln. Close to Arvika golf course, an 18-hole course.

You have your own wooden deck down by the lake, jetty and a small electric boat. Perfect to use when you want to explore Dalsland's canal with the crowded nice waterways just outside. Hiking trails can be found just around the corner from the house. Barbecue area in a prime south-facing location. If you want to take a day trip to Oslo, it's only an hour away. There are shopping centres and restaurants in Töcksfors.

From my charming cottage, it is a short walk to the lake for swimming and fishing and a short drive to other family-friendly activities as well as cultural and historic sites. It is surrounded by nature, forests, farmland and lakes. Regular sightings of wildlife including mouse, deer, beaver, foxes, cranes and endangered water birds. The open farmland on three side means it is light and sunny with views to the lake. A new kitchen is installed in Feb 2024 with all new utilities and dishwasher.

Bo i ett mysigt tentipitält omgivet av skog och sjön Fryken. Inuti finns dubbelsäng och soffa. Utanför tältet finns en vedugn där du kan laga mat under bar himmel samt en enkel matplats. Du har även egen tillgång till en timmerstuga som ligger alldeles intill med kokplattor, kylskåp och matplats & kaffe. Ett utedass ligger en kort promenad in i skogen. Parkering ligger cirka 150 m från platsen med en backe ner. Endast 15 min från Sunne centrum ligger detta smultronställe.

This newly-built unique accommodation, my home, is located in the heart of Värmland. Fantastic views of Lake Glafsfjorden with sunsets that are irresistibly beautiful. Large wooden deck with its own Jacuzzi. Just a few hundred meters to the lake. Cows and calves are in the pasture that you have to go through to get down to the lake. The beach is rocky. I have an older rowboat by the lake that you can use freely. The boat is a little worn but works. Good fishing.
