The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. Fall into a fresh clean bed and wake up to the sound of the dawn chorus. Our bathroom barn provides all your needs for a morning freshen up!See you soon.

Herriot Country peaceful retreat

A tranquil rural gem of a cottage. The Stables has all the character & charm you would expect from a Yorkshire Stone dwelling, but with all the warmth & mod cons of a luxurious quiet retreat. The upstairs 'hayloft' bedroom has characterful sloping ceilings. (6ft 4 max) and downstairs the open plan space provides a beautifully equipped kitchen, dining area & relaxing lounge with a sofa, which opens out into a comfy bed for those who prefer to remain on the ground floor, looking over the garden.

The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a small double bed & wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

Grooms Cottage by Sheriff Hutton Castle, Near York

Grooms Cottage is on a private estate right next to the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle. The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. It’s about 10 miles from both York and Malton, Castle Howard is under 6 miles away, and the coast can be reached in under an hour. Grooms Cottage sleeps 4 guests+2 babies +dogs

Our local pub is on the doorstep serving excellent home cooked meals or a take away Sunday lunch. With 2 parking spaces and secure lock up lock up for mountain bikes.

This shepherds hut is in a gorgeous rural location. The hut has electricity and hot water, it will be a cosy and warm place to stay all year round. There is a recently added hot tub, to relax in and soak up the gorgeous view. A fire pit and an outdoor table, plus cooking facilities in the hut. It is in a romantic and peaceful location. We are close to Castle Howard, Yorkshire Lavender and many other wonderful places to visit. Fabulous for keen walkers and popular area for cyclists.
