Log cabin with lake view

The log cabin is located in the countryside in the village of Löa. The cabin has no electricity or running water, so you cook in the wood stove, fetch water in the pump and use the outhouse, just like it was in the past. If it is too cold to swim in the lake, there is a shower to borrow in another building. Refrigerator to store food in is available. On the farm, you can help feed calves, sheep and chickens and pick eggs for breakfast. Moose and beaver safari with the cottage owner as a guide can be booked. Boat, kayak and raft available to rent.

The pearl in Tolvsbo

A very nice accommodation with a lake plot and beach in a fantastic location. Inside, there is a large area that combines kitchen with living room containing a cozy fireplace. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. No washing machine. Space for six people as the sofa is a sofa bed. The water is not drinkable but washable. There is a full 10-liter jug upon arrival that can be refilled inside the village's local ICA store. Small cottage with four additional sleeping places, for an extra charge. A rowboat and canoe are available down on the beach.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Proximity to the ski slope and high position overlooking Yxsjön! Here is the swimming area with jetty just in front of the house. And ski tracks/exercise tracks just around the corner. About 40 minutes drive to Säfsen, about 1 hour drive to Romme Alpin and 20 minutes to Fjällberget. So is life on this island. Of course, it is already unique to be able to book a house on a private island. The house/island exudes simple Swedish life. The house is self-sufficient in electricity and (hot) water. Although that does not mean that it is available without limits. Wonderfully private

Atlantis

Atlantis is a log cabin that was built at the end of the 19th century and used as a bakery. It has been used as a vacation home since the early 1990s and was redesigned in 2023. The house is located directly on the waterfront and near Straße 233. A rowboat and a sauna, in the adjacent boathouse, are at the guests' disposal! Nature invites you to enjoy leisure activities and relaxation. However, there are also museums, historical sites and industrial cultural sites in the surrounding area.

Torp in Spannbyn

You like to glance out of the window, over a wild meadow leading to a lake? While having some buttered toast and your freshly brewed first coffee of the day? I guess you'll like it here. The little red house is about 90m away from of the Spannsjö, on which's shores my farm is the only real estate.Your little red house has everything you need, no matter the season: sleeping room with 4beds, living room, bathroom, fully functional kitchen and your own washing machine.Wifi is in the house.

Cozy cottage on lake plot

Here you live in a cozy timber house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.

Lovely cottage (bath & fishing)

A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings next to a lake (2 min walk) with your own bathing place with platform, access to boat and one canoe for up to 3/4 persons and free fishing (You can borrow simpel fishing equipment). Fully equipped main house with 3 bedrooms. Additionally 1 small house available with 4 beds. It is very quiet and peaceful here and you will see the sheep and horses graze near the house.

Rikkenstorp - swedish countryside!

Come and stay at our small organic farm. You have your own nice house by the lake with access to a sauna. Take a walk in the forest or on the paths around the farm and say hi to the animals. This is an active small scale farm with a genuine feeling! Experience real countryside with nature, silence and a sky full of stars :-)
