“We LOVED our stay here! We stayed 2 nights in Serrana villa and 2 nights in Saba and loved them both. This villa is so cozy and private. Here are a few things about our stay: Host: Janus will take care of anything you need. ANYTHING! Janus is so responsive answering questions and he has connections for everything - tours, chauffeurs, chef, etc. He will definitely go out of his way to make sure your stay is exceptional! Janus greeted us when we arrived and also before we checked out. We were so sad to leave. Location: Soufriere is hands down the best part of the island! I am so glad we stayed here for the majority of our vacation. It is definitely the most beautiful part of the island and is where most of the things to see and do are. We drove all the way up to the north side of the island and saw where the cruise ships come in, where the Sandals resorts are, etc. and I would not recommend staying up there. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and stay near Soufriere instead and book one (or two) of Janus’s places. You'd be able to walk from here to town, although having a rental car makes things easier. We felt very safe, both at the villa and around town. Villa & Amenities: We were just two people, but it could easily accommodate four. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. We only used the air conditioner at night to cool it down a bit and get the humidity out for sleeping, but otherwise we enjoyed the warm open air feel of the villa. Wifi was good and the kitchen had everything we needed. Roads/Driving: We are from the United States so drive on the opposite side of the road. The roads are bumpy and steep in some places, but nothing that can’t be navigated, so don’t let the roads deter you from renting a car. We are so glad we had a car! We did not have cell phone service in St. Lucia but I had downloaded the offline map and we used that for navigation, which worked quite well. We did use the chauffeur service (Janus lined this up) one evening though to go out for a nice meal, as we did not want to drive back that far in the dark. Highly recommend this service as well! Honestly, before booking this villa, when I was reading reviews for all of Janus’s villas, I was thinking that these places couldn’t possibly be so good, at such an affordable price. Everything in the reviews is true and the photos are very accurate. Thanks for the incredible stay, Janus! You provided us with a very memorable trip to St. Lucia and we are so lucky to have celebrated our 20th anniversary here.”
*Ask About Seasonal Discounts!* Located on the edge of the ridge in Marigot Bay, features incredible views out over the sea and horizon and a private plunge pool. A perfect getaway for honeymooners or just a couple looking for a romantic retreat.
“The views and sunsets here were amazing! My wife and I stayed here for the first half of our trip to St. Lucia, and it was a great start. We rented a car and would go to a nearby beach during the day and be back at the place to watch the sunset from the patio because that is the BEST place to see it. Then we would go down to Marigot Bay for dinner and drinks, which was a blast! There's plenty to do close by, but we really wanted to get out on a boat, but not do all the touristy stuff (most took you to Soufriere area which is where we spent the second half of our trip). So I found a flyer for Captain Joe, called him, and booked him for the next day. We had the boat to ourselves and beach hopped, snorkeled, and visited the Pitons while he fed us fruit and beer. It was one of our favorite parts of vacation - I left his number in the guestbook. Definitely recommend this place for the size, privacy, views, and location to Marigot Bay.”
The villa is close to Marigot Bay beach, restaurants, banking, shopping and nightlife. There is also a secluded cove Trou Rolland or Fishing Cove nearby, where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, jumping off the rocks or simply relaxing. While it is possible to reach these in a 10-15 minute walk, a car rental is a better option and it is recommended. Gated parking at the villa is available to our guests. Surveillance camera on the outside and hallway of premises.
“Everything about our stay was amazing. The place was super clean, the view was fantastic, the apartment had everything we could ever need (kitchen very well equipped) and very secure. Chrissy has a great team of people there to help us with everything from clean towels, transportation, and food. I cannot say enough about how much we loved this place. The only issue we can think of is that the fantastic view comes at a price... the long walk up the hill. To be fair, the listing suggests that you rent a car. Never having been to St. Lucia before, we did not know that the terrain is very hilly, and we did not rent a car. The cost of taxi’s can get expensive so I would definitely recommend renting a car. St. Lucia, and Marigot Bay in particular has a lot to offer. One great deal is the watersports available in Marigot Bay. For $35/day or about $70 for a week you can have unlimited access to kayaks, stand up paddle boards, Hobie cat sail boats, and more. A special experience that is a must do is buy fresh fish from the local fishermen and have a fantastic meal while you enjoy the view from the villa. We will definitely return to stay at Chrissy’s Villa again.”
