The space
This charming beach cottage on the Bay is a tucked away in a private Chesapeake Bay Beach community, with friendly neighbors. Great for kids. This cottage is literally ON THE BEACH. This semi private beach is only used by 3 other properties, so it is rarely crowded (except on holiday weekends). Wake up and watch the waves crash outside your bedroom window. Sip coffee on one on the expansive screened in porch taking in the endless bay views and the sound of the waves crashing against the beach and shoreline. Fully stocked kitchen. Super fast Internet. 55 inch smart TV with all of your favorite streaming apps. Cell phone service is spotty, but Verizon usually works pretty well.

We are pet friendly, but only for approved pets that are listed on the reservation. We allow house trained pets, with up to date flea/tick medication. Our $100 pet fee covers up to two pets. If you have more, please reach out to us so we can have a conversation. We love pets, but want to make sure we are able to accommodate pets in a way that maintains the quality of our home!

About the neighborhood:
Chesapeake Bay Beach Estates is a golf cart community right on the Chesapeake Bay. It’s a hodgepodge of different homes. Some of the lots are well cared for with beautiful homes and some have campers and trailers. It caught me off guard on my first visit, but we know you will love it as much as we do! The people in this neighborhood are incredibly friendly.

About Reedville:
Reedville is a quaint remote little town in the Northern neck of Virginia. There are four wineries, several great local restaurants, and a cute little ice cream shop. Reedville is directly across from Tangier Island. You can take a cruise over to the island for the day from a nearby marina. The closest grocery store is in Heathsville which you will pass on your way in from Richmond. The towns of Kilmarnock and Irvington are about a half hour away and are great places to visit as well. Lots of boutique shops and restaurants. Irvington is home to the famous Tides inn which is worth a visit. If you are looking for night life, bars, shopping, movie theatres, etc, Reedville probably isn’t the place for you. But if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation with your family and friends in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, you just hit the jackpot. Come unplug and let us share our little piece of heaven with you. You simply won’t want to leave once you get here.
