Ideal for the family or trips with friends, our period cottage is beautifully situated directly overlooking an Arts and Crafts style Bowling Pavilion and the large beach immediately beyond. The house sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, has a big well-equipped kitchen, wi-fi and a comfy lounge with a wood and coal burning fire. Relax or find an adventure. Powfoot is peaceful with a bar and restaurant. There's free putting at the door, golf, lots of nature, nearby outlet shopping, the Solway coast and more!

New 2021. 3 bedroom property. 1 minute from main amenities building. Views of the sea, 2 minute walk to the beach. Three bedrooms, 2 x double and a twin room with bunk beds, TV and games console.. The property is all ground floor, including shower room with toilet and a 2nd toilet, kitchen with dining area and french doors leading to the garden and a sitting room with a flat screen TV, internet (WiFi) and Alexa speaker. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden area.

The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.
