The property is entirely for themselves by the sea. 40 minutes from Alta. Please note! In winter (October–May), you have to ski or use snowshoes for about 1.5 km. Host can assist with transportation by snow scooter for an additional price. Great hiking opportunities all year long. House refurbished in 2024 with a new kitchen and plenty of beds. Private outdoor room on the second floor where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the sea and mountains. If you're lucky, both killer whales and whales will appear right outside. Sørstraumen View

Welcome to Sørstraumen View which is located near E6, but still secluded. The cabin is located near the sea, with lovely views in all directions, including Storstraumen, which is a very good fishing spot. The area around the cabin is open and a good starting point for walking, hunting and fishing. There is a road all the way up to the cabin with parking. There is also a small grocery store nearby, where you can buy most of what you need. The cabin is cozy, with three small bedrooms and five beds.

Wonderful place with proximity to sea and mountains. Nice place for families. The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Discover the the Arctic Finnmark Alps in Jøkelfjord! (Glacierfjord) Very little light pollution gives great potential for Northern Lights watching, and whales often visit Oct–Jan. No guarantees, but lucky guests spot them from the warm sofa. The area offers excellent skiing opportunities.
